Species-specific research literature
Every compound in the catalogue was searched against PubMed for published canine, feline or equine literature, scoped by MeSH species check-tags. Two have literature in which the animals are the subject of study rather than a laboratory model for human drug development. Those two are below. Nothing here is guidance about the use of any compound in any animal.For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption.
Why the list is short
Most compounds in the catalogue have no canine, feline or equine literature at all. Several have literature that is species-specific and real but is not about animals as the subject of study — purpose-bred dogs in cardiovascular models, cats in neurophysiology preparations. Those are human drug-development studies that happen to use an animal, and summarising them under a species heading would imply something the papers do not say.
A third group has equine literature only because the compound is prohibited in horse racing; every such paper is a doping-control detection assay, reporting analytical chemistry rather than biology.
