What a certificate of analysis includes.
The method, stated plainly.
Identity and purity are both determined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), by Janoshik, an independent laboratory. Identity is confirmed by retention behaviour against a reference standard. Purity is the assayed percentage of the named compound in that lot, with related substances resolved and reported in the same run.
The figure published on a product page is the figure Janoshik issued for that specific lot. We do not round it, restate it in our own words, or average it across lots. If you want to check one, every report carries a unique key you can enter atjanoshik.com/verifyto confirm the result with the laboratory directly, without involving us.
What this standard covers — and what it does not.
A published certificate from us reports two things: identity and assayed purity, both by HPLC. It does not report heavy-metal content, microbial or endotoxin analysis, or sterility. We do not run those assays and we do not claim them anywhere on this site.
Where a compound has no published certificate, no purity figure is claimed for it. Its page says so plainly rather than substituting a general statement about our standard for a result we do not have.
Who stands behind this page.
This standard is maintained and reviewed by Jacob Pierce, founder of Ouralus LLC. It is not reviewed by a licensed practitioner, and no page on this site is written or reviewed as health information — everything here describes a laboratory testing standard for research materials.
The checkable part of our claim was never who wrote it. It is the certificate. Every published report is issued by a third-party laboratory and carries a key that confirms the result with that laboratory, not with us.
