Identity and purity are both determined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), by Janoshik, an independent laboratory. Identity is confirmed by retention behaviour against a reference standard. Purity is the assayed percentage of the named compound in that lot, with related substances resolved and reported in the same run.
The figure published on a product page is the figure Janoshik issued for that specific lot. We do not round it, restate it in our own words, or average it across lots. A published certificate from us reports two things: identity and assayed purity, both by HPLC. It does not report heavy-metal content, microbial or endotoxin analysis, or sterility. We do not run those assays and we do not claim them anywhere on this site.
Where a compound has no published certificate, no purity figure is claimed for it. Its page says so plainly rather than substituting a general statement about our standard for a result we do not have.
