Testing method
Peptide storage stability
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption.
- What it measures
- How purity and content change over time under a stated storage condition.
- How it works
- Samples from one batch are held at defined temperatures and humidity and re-assayed at intervals, usually by HPLC. A stability claim is only as long as the longest interval actually tested.
- Sample
- Several vials from one batch, one pulled per time point.
- Result reported as
- Purity and content at each time point, for each condition.
- Limits
- Results apply to the condition tested. Our product pages list a storage condition; none of our published reports is a stability study.
- Standards
- ICH Q1A(R2) Stability Testing of New Drug Substances and Products; ICH Q5C Stability Testing of Biotechnological/Biological Products
- On our reports
- 0 of 23 None of our published reports include stability time points.
