Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Contact information (your email when you sign up, enter a promotional offer, or contact us);
• Order information (name, shipping address, products ordered);
• Communications (contents of messages you send us).

If you type your email or phone number into a form on our site, we may save it before you submit so we can remind you about your cart. We never text you unless you opt in to texts.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data (IP address, browser type, device info, pages viewed, referring pages, via cookies and similar technologies);
• Analytics data (aggregated information about site usage).

Payment information: Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (which may include cryptocurrency and card-based providers). We do NOT collect or store your full payment card details on our servers. Payment processors handle your payment information under their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process, fulfill, and ship your orders;
• communicate about your orders and respond to inquiries;
• send marketing and promotional emails where you have opted in (unsubscribe anytime);
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website;
• detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and
• comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate our business, including with:

• Payment processors (to process payments and settlement);
• Transactional email providers — Ouralus emails your order confirmation, payment receipt, and shipping notice itself, through an email delivery service (currently Resend), which requires sharing your name, email, order details, and shipping address;
• Shipping and fulfillment providers (to deliver orders);
• Email and marketing service providers (to send communications you opted into);
• Analytics and infrastructure providers (to operate and improve the site); and
• Legal and safety (when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ouralus, our customers, or others).

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our SMS Terms.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as age verification), maintain your cart, understand site usage, and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

A referral cookie may be set to credit a partner; partners receive order totals only, never customer details.

We use Google Ads measurement to understand which of our ads lead to purchases. When you arrive from a Google ad, we store the ad click identifier in a cookie for up to 90 days and record it with any order you place; on order confirmation we report the order number and total to Google. Google's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to complete transactions, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime via the link in those emails.
• Access and deletion: request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@ouralus.com; we respond consistent with applicable law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.

8. Age

Our website and products are intended only for individuals at least 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (such as lab verification pages or payment processors). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
